Google Maps ranking for contractors in Vancouver WA and Battle Ground

You are already good at the work. This is about the people searching for it at 7am on a Tuesday finding you instead of the shop two towns over.

Your rank is not one number

Search your own trade from the yard and you might be first. Search the same words from a customer's driveway in Camas and you can be nowhere. Google ranks Maps results by how far the searcher is from you, so a Hazel Dell electrician can own their own street and be invisible in Washougal.

That is why a single search tells you almost nothing — it shows your best result and hides every other one. We measure from nine points on a grid around your address, so you see the whole picture: where you are strong, and where you are not there at all.

What we actually do each month

• Fix the profile. Primary category, services, description, service area, hours. This is where the fastest movement comes from, and most trade profiles have never had it done.
• Post weekly. Short, local, useful. Google treats an active profile differently from a dormant one.
• Draft a reply to every review. You approve or change it in one tap. Reply rate is a ranking signal and it is entirely within your control.
• Ask for reviews the honest way — after the job, from people who actually paid you. We never buy reviews, never incentivise them, and never ask only the happy customers. It is against Google's rules and it risks the profile your business runs on.
• Measure it and send you the map. Same search, same nine points, every month, so you can see whether it moved.

Questions people ask

How long until I'm in the top 3?

Movement usually shows in the first month. The profile fixes land within weeks; review count is slower because it depends on how many jobs you finish. We measure on day one and day 30 and send you both maps, so you are not taking our word for it.

Why do I rank differently across town?

Distance from the searcher. It is the single biggest factor on Maps, and it is why we measure from nine points rather than one.

Do I have to give you access to my Google account?

Manager access to the Business Profile, which takes about two minutes and which you can remove at any time. We never need your password.

Will you get me reviews?

We will ask your customers at the right moment and draft every reply. We will not buy, trade, or fake a single one — that gets profiles suspended, and your profile is your phone ringing.
